About this role
The Category Planner is a critical link in our Supply Chain, responsible for ensuring that the right products are in the right place at the right time. You will balance demand forecasting with inventory optimization to drive category growth and minimize stock-outs or overstock situations.
Responsibilities
Analyze historical sales data and market trends to generate accurate demand forecasts at the category level.
Maintain optimal stock levels by managing Lead Times, Safety Stocks, and Reorder Points (ROP).
Develop and execute replenishment plans to ensure continuous product availability across retail outlets and distribution centers.
Monitor Category Performance (Sell-through rates, Aging stock, and GMROI) and provide data-backed insights to the Commercial team.
Collaborate with Procurement, Production, and Sales teams to align supply with marketing promotions and seasonal peaks.
Maintain real-time tracking of KPIs through Advanced Excel and systems.
