About this role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Audit - Retail to lead and strengthen our internal audit function across retail operations. The role will ensure robust financial controls, compliance, and operational efficiency across all retail units.
Responsibilities
Develop annual audit plans covering financial, operational, and compliance audits for retail operations.
Lead end-to-end audits: planning, fieldwork, testing, reporting, and follow-up.
Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and SOPs across retail outlets.
Identify gaps in inventory management, cash handling, POS operations, and revenue controls.
Prepare audit reports with actionable recommendations for senior management.
Manage and mentor the audit team to build capability and accountability.
Foster a culture of integrity, objectivity, and continuous improvement.
