The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe workplace, compliance with legal requirements, and prevention of workplace accidents and environmental incidents.
Responsibilities
- Safety Management: Identify workplace hazards and provide recommendations.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Conduct inspections to verify PPE compliance.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Inspect fire protection equipment, first aid facilities, and emergency exits.
