About this role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Microbiologist to ensure the microbiological safety and quality of raw materials, production environments, water systems, and finished products. The ideal candidate will conduct microbiological testing, monitor hygiene and sanitation practices, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality management systems in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform microbiological tests and laboratory solutions.
Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Food Safety, and Engineering teams to resolve microbiological issues.
Maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure proper handling and disposal of microbiological waste.
Assist in validating cleaning processes and conducting shelf-life studies where required.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly microbiology reports.
