About this role
The Procurement Executive - Food will report to the Procurement Manager and play a vital role in sourcing quality food raw materials, additives, and packaging components at optimal costs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food safety standards, vendor negotiations, and supply chain management within the food or FMCG industry.
Responsibilities
Source and evaluate local and international suppliers for food raw materials, ingredients, spices, flavors, and packaging materials.
Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable credit terms, and reliable delivery schedules while maintaining uncompromising quality standards.
Ensure all procured ingredients comply with food safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company standards.
Monitor stock levels, analyze consumption patterns, and coordinate with production planning to prevent stockouts or overstocking of perishable items.
